Project Background

Currently, there are many Web3 companies and start-ups that operate, yet lack in the areas of cybersecurity. This results in many cases of users losing valuable assets due to various vulnerabilities.
I was approached IsoWallet's founders to come up with branding which would encompass their core values, appeal to their target audience, and stand out from the crowd.

Current Market Logos Comparison
Logo & Branding Breakdown
The IsoWallet Logo
The primary logo consists of a symbol and a wordmark.
Icon Meaning
The logo icon is constructed of three squares which represent the purpose of the IsoWallet.
Symbol Construction
The logo is constructed of stylized squares which feature rounded corners for a more approachable appearance.
Proper Proportions
When constructing the logo in physical or virtual spaces, it is important to maintain accurate proportions. A single square should be considered as the
reference for measurement. The square is measured as 1x
Safety Zone
The safety zone should be minimum 2x of clearance space around the entire logo.
It is prohibited to use any sort of artwork, typography, or any graphic artifact between the 2x safety zone.
Minimum Size
The primary logo’s smallest is size begins at 25px height vertically.
Below the minimum 25px height, the icon logo should be used alternatively.
Reversed & Single Colour
Logo colour variations and how they should and may appear on different coloured backgrounds.
Partnerships and Collaborations
Ensure min 1x distance from divider line or 2x from logo when placed side by side.
Brand Pattern
The IsoWallet pattern is an optional asset that can be used to create brand related designs. It can be changed using different colours and opacities. It is created using IsoWallet's squares and is intended to reinforce recognizability and enhance the visual design.
Alternative Logo Layouts
The secondary and tertiary logos are to be used when the primary logo is not optimal in a use case. For example, a tight design layout or if the logo would function better on a particular design or on medium.
Typography
Brand Typefaces
IsoWallet’s brand typeface families are “BW Darius” and “Urbanist”.
"BW Darius" was selected as IsoWallet's display typeface because it conveys an established brand and has a strong aesthetic presence due to its strong serifs and bold strokes. The "Urbanist" typeface is a great match for "BW Darius" and makes a modern and clean impression.
Brand Colour
Primary
The primary colours are IsoWallet’s main identifiers and should be used purposefully.
These colours were chosen as they create a contrasting and eye-catching combination which reflects cyberspace and a level of seriousness while remaining exciting and futuristic.
Secondary
Secondary colours are intended as accompanying hues to the primary
set and to allow for the primary to be used more purposefully.
These colours were chosen to complement and tone-down the strong primary colours. These colours also work well for text placed on top of the primary colours as they contrast well and maintain visibility.
Tertiary
Tertiary colours are available for designs and use cases where the primary and secondary palettes are not optimal. They can be used for a design or campaign which may benefit from the use of additional colours. These colours should be used as additions, not as replacements.
