Logo & Brand Identity
Art Direction, Logo Design, Brand Identity, Website
Founders of IsoWallet approached me with an objective to come up with an original identity and branding that represented their core values, appealed to their target audience, and stood out from the crowd. Additionally, it was a necessity for this identity to be work and integrate with a wide range of digital assets and products.
Design a unique logo and identity which stands out from the crowd while remaining relevant to the cyber and Web3 space.
Logo & Identity, website design, Mockups, social media
Initial research was conducted on popular logos and websites within the space to gain deeper understanding of the potential users and understand what type of colours, styles, and use cases are typical of that type of identity. I wanted to identify what worked and what didn’t in order to design a I distinct Identity.
Key elements were identified that could be improve upon in order to set IsoWallet apart.
These Key elements include:
Through various iterations it was also studied how to represent broad and complex topics such as "Web3", "cybersecurity". and "Blockchain technology".
The IsoWallet design system aims to make complex information approachable and clean while maintaining a level of seriousness. This is achieved through the use of more humanistic elements, such as a serifed typeface paired with a sans-serif, round-cornered graphics, and a vibrant pop of green which infuses the site with vibrancy and personality.
The IsoWallet features a custom wordmark paired alongside a three-cubed icon. This combination instantly resonates as a technology forward company.
From the get-go our goal was to create a logo that embodies a deeper meaning in a clean and innovative way.
Two contrasting typefaces were chosen for both their aesthetic appeal and readability at small scales.
"BW Darius" was selected as IsoWallet's display typeface because it conveys an established brand and has a strong aesthetic presence due to its strong serifs and bold strokes. The "Urbanist" typeface is a great match for "BW Darius" and makes a modern and clean impression.
The logo is constructed of stylized squares which feature rounded corners for a more approachable appearance.
When constructing the logo in physical or virtual spaces, it is important to maintain accurate proportions. A single square should be considered as the reference for measurement. The square is measured as 1x
The safety zone should be minimum 2x of clearance space around the entire logo.It is prohibited to use any sort of artwork, typography, or any graphic artifact between the 2x safety zone.
The primary logo’s smallest size begins at 25px height vertically.Below the minimum 25px height, the icon logo should be used alternatively.
The crypto space is all about collaborations. To ensure the logo remains clear from obstructions, maintain a min of 1x distance from the divider line or 2x from logo when placed side by side.
Logo colour variations and how they should and may appear on different coloured backgrounds.
The IsoWallet pattern is an optional asset that can be used to create brand related designs.
The pattern can be changed using different colours and opacities. It is created using IsoWallet's squares and is intended to reinforce recognizability and enhance the visual design.

IsoWallet's primary colours are its identifiers and should be used purposefully.Colors were chosen as they create an eye-catching contrast that reflects cyberspace and a level of professionalism while remaining futuristic and exciting.
Primary colours are intended as companion hues to the secondary set so that the primary can be used more effectively.
These colours were chosen to complement and tone-down the strong primary colours. In addition, these colours work well for text placed over primary colours because they contrast well and keep visibility.
Tertiary colours are available for designs and use cases where the primary and secondary palettes are not optimal.
Tertiary colours can be used for campaigns or designs that might benefit from the inclusion of additional colours. These colours should be considered as additions, not as replacements.
For the infograph design, we decided to opt for a style that was minimal yet colorful. Oversized numbers were added to make the graphic quickly scannable.
A photo specific treatment was developed and used on key images throughout the site to create a distinct visual style for the site and darken images so that text could be added on top.
By focusing on the quality of information instead of the quantity and approaching the design and UX with careful consideration of the end user, we were able to design a website that makes discovering and understanding the scientific community's opinion on relevant issues a straightforward and engaging experience.
